My basic ideas about how to shape oneself’s mind and business are covered by the works of these 3 men:

Phineas Taylor Barnum – the first modern entrepreneur, a man with an incredible life story, is the teacher of the Art of Money Getting.

Henry Hazlitt – economist and journalist, managed to summarize the complexity of economics in one book: Economics in One Lesson.

Peter Drucker – the man who invented management, is the author of numerous visionary masterpieces. The Essential Drucker is a very good start, but studying his entire work gives one the chance of being educated by the best professor in history.
